Yes. On the send screen there's an AML check recipients option, turned on by default, so risky recipient addresses are caught before funds leave your wallet.
For a regular send you can opt out by unticking it. For stealth payments, the AML check is always on and can't be turned off.
The check runs after you press Send but before anything goes on-chain: if a recipient is blacklisted or scores above the risk threshold, that payment isn't sent and moves to an Error state with a link to view the AML result. Checking the same address again within an hour reuses the recent result.
