🚀 Introducing the VaultNow App for Slack

To install the VaultNow App in Slack:

Already have a VaultNow account?
In the web app open Settings → Messengers → Connect and copy the link token (valid 15 minutes). Then in a DM with the bot send:
​/vaultnow link [token]

The bot confirms the link and shows the main menu.

No account yet?
Send /vaultnow to the bot in a DM — it offers a fork: "I have an account / Create a new one". "Create account" sets up a working account right from Slack, no email or password required.

An account created from Slack starts without an email. To unlock the full web app, tap "Web account" in the bot menu — it asks for your email, sends a 6-digit code, and after confirmation hands you a one-time web sign-in link.

Open the VaultNow app in the sidebar → Home tab. It refreshes every time you open it.

• Period KPIs — balances and money flow, same as the web dashboard.
• Service balance with two top-up buttons:

1. Deposit address - reserves an address for you, sends the QR code to your DM, and keeps the address reserved for 10 minutes. Funds are credited automatically. Only the first payment is credited.
2. From wallet - transfer from an internal wallet — pick wallet, coin, amount, confirm.
• Favourite wallets (up to two) with Send/Receive buttons.
• Wallets / Transactions / Payments lists open right inside the tab — pagination, filters, tap a row for the card, Back to go back.
• Other buttons launch operations: forms pop up as modals, step-by-step dialogs continue in your DM ("Continued in chat").

All commands run through /vaultnow:• /vaultnow link [token] (DM) — link Slack to your account
• /vaultnow menu (DM & channels) — open the main menu (in a channel — visible only to you)
• /vaultnow pay (DM) — open the quick-payment form
• /vaultnow start (channel) — subscribe the channel to the bot (invite it first)
• /vaultnow stop (channel) — unsubscribe the channel
• /vaultnow unlink (DM) — unlink Slack from your account

Quick payment — /vaultnow pay, the Send button in the menu or on a favourite wallet: one form for source wallet, recipient address, token, amount, comment. The form checks the address against the wallet's network.

Confirmation (2FA) — sending money always needs confirmation codes, one field per active method (email / Telegram / authenticator app). Codes go into the modal, never into chat history.

Payment list — in the menu or Home: filters by status (Unpaid / Pending approval / In progress / Paid / Errors) and period (Today / Week / Month / All). The card offers Pay (drafts) and Cancel (not yet sent), by your permissions.

Wallets — a list with network/balance filters, a card with balances, health score and AML status.

QR code / Receive — the address as an image: in a DM it's a file with a "To channel..." button; from Home it opens the channel picker directly.

Explorer — a link to the blockchain explorer.

AML check — screen an address or a transaction counterparty right from the card; the bot DMs the result with a PDF once the check completes.

Transactions — a list with USD amount, network, date and hash; the card shows categories, notes and the linked payment.

You can publish a wallet address to any channel — e.g. so a teammate can send funds:

1. Tap Receive (Home) or "To channel..." under a QR message in your DM.
2. Pick a channel (public or private).
3. The bot posts the QR code with the address and network there.

If the bot isn't a member of a private channel, it asks you to invite it first (/invite @VaultNow). Only the address goes to the channel — no wallet name, balances or management buttons.

Status — whether 2FA is on, active confirmation methods, whether an email is linked.

Enable 2FA (TOTP) — the bot shows a QR for your authenticator app; scan it and enter the code — 2FA is on. The secret never appears as text, only inside the QR.

Disable 2FA — with a code from your authenticator. Five wrong attempts lock the action for 15 minutes.

Lost authenticator — reset: a link goes to your linked email; without an email, a 72-hour hold starts and outgoing payments freeze until it clears (hijack protection).

Invite the bot to a channel (/invite @VaultNow) and subscribe it with /vaultnow start — needs the group-linking permission./vaultnow menu in a channel replies only to you (an ephemeral message) — browse your data without leaving the channel.

Every button tap runs as the person who tapped it, under their own permissions — someone else's button never grants access to their data.

Money-action buttons are never posted to shared channels — only viewing and navigation; operations themselves always continue in a DM or a modal.

Bot doesn't respond to /vaultnow start in a channel — invite it first: /invite @VaultNow.

Tapped a button in Home, got "Continued in chat" — step-by-step dialogs live in the DM, open the bot's Messages tab.

QR arrived as text without the image — the full address is still there and can be copied; the upload may have failed due to app permissions, contact your workspace admin.

Sent a code and the bot says it's invalid — send it without formatting; five wrong attempts lock for 15 minutes.

Want to unlink Slack — /vaultnow unlink in a DM. If the account was created from Slack with no email yet, link one first ("Web account") — otherwise Slack is the only access and the bot refuses to unlink.
