Recurring payments: automate regular payments

Written by Emma

Recurring payments let you set up a template that automatically creates a payment on a schedule — handy for salaries, subscriptions or regular vendors.

  • Creating a template. Choose the recipient, token and amount, a frequency (Daily, Weekly, Biweekly or Monthly), a start date and an optional end date. Turn on Auto-pay if you want the generated payment to be sent automatically (this needs an extra permission and a source wallet); otherwise each generated payment waits in Payments for someone to send it.

  • Managing templates. Templates appear as cards with their status (Active, Paused, Expired or Cancelled), next run and last run. You can Pause, Resume, Edit or Delete them, and filter by status, wallet, frequency or counterparty.

Good to know. A template stops automatically when it passes its end date, or if the recipient's wallet has been removed.
